Project Accountant | San Francisco

WRNS Studio is seeking a Project Accountant with 5-10 years of experience working in the building design industry, preferably in architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction. The position is based in our San Francisco studio and supports project teams from WRNS Studio’s four offices: San Francisco, Honolulu, New York and Seattle. 

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Monthly invoice review and forecasting with Project Managers
• Consultant contract management 
• Vendor management 
• General ledger accounting
• W9 Compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting 
• Experience in Architectural/Engineering/Construction firm preferred
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player who can identify and initiate process improvements
• High level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines
• Familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, terminology, practices and procedures, GAAP
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred
• Ability to work under general supervision, within established work parameters
• Ability to follow through on commitments and demonstrate ownership of results 
• Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or related field preferred

Salary

At the time of posting this job, the salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000. Our final compensation decisions include a candidate’s experience, qualifications, and education.
